Carolina Heat was built for the conditions where subtle colors disappear and bass need something they can find, track, and attack.

The SwampGhost 3.8" Minnow combines a balanced baitfish profile with a hard-kicking paddle tail that produces movement at both slow and faster retrieve speeds.

But the color is what gives Carolina Heat its attitude.

The body begins with a deep, warm red loaded with mini gold flake. The red creates a bold profile in the water, while the fine gold flake produces controlled flashes as the bait moves through changing light.

That body transitions into a striking chartreuse tail designed to remain noticeable every time the paddle kicks.

The chartreuse does more than make the bait brighter. It gives following fish a defined strike point and helps the tail remain visible in stained water, wind-chopped conditions, cloudy weather, and low light.

Red provides the body and contrast.

FISH IT YOUR WAY

• Jighead – The most versatile setup. Swim it steadily through open water, beside cover, or over grass while allowing the paddle tail to work naturally.

• Underspin – Adds another layer of flash beneath the bait. Excellent for suspended bass, schooling fish, and deeper baitfish activity.

• Belly-Weighted Hook – Keeps the presentation weedless while adding enough weight to reach grass lines, laydowns, docks, and slightly deeper water.

• Chatterbait Trailer – Adds a bold baitfish profile, strong tail movement, and additional chartreuse visibility behind the vibrating jig.

• Spinnerbait Trailer – Extends the baitfish profile while the chartreuse tail works behind the blades.

HOW TO FISH IT

Start with a steady, medium-speed retrieve and allow the paddle tail to create the action.

In shallow stained water, keep the bait moving above grass, beside docks, and past isolated cover.

When bass are aggressive, increase the speed and add occasional pauses. The sudden stop allows the bait to fall while the chartreuse tail remains visible.

For suspended or deeper fish, slow the retrieve and keep the bait at the same depth as the fish. A heavier jighead or underspin can help maintain the proper depth.

Around bottom-oriented fish, use a lift-and-fall retrieve. Allow the bait to touch bottom, lift it with the rod, and let it fall again on controlled line.

Many strikes will come immediately after the bait changes speed or begins to fall.
